Wi-Fi for CCTV Networks

Located beneath the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in the heart of the Medina, Jamaa el-Fna has served as Marrakech’s main market square since its foundation in the 11th century.

It is a lively source of entertainment for the local community as well as travelers, the marketplace functions as both a traditional market and an open-air stage for various musical, religious, and theatrical performances.

In order to improve the security of local residents and tourists across the main square, the management office of Jamaa el-Fna has decided to install surveillance cameras around the main square.

Altai teamed up with its strategic partner in Morocco to submit a joint proposal for this project based on Altai’s A2 series. With detail site survey and planning, the Jamaa el-Fna now has a reliable and high performance Super WiFi network to connect all the surveillance cameras without expensive cabling, thus saving significant installation cost as well as providing them with the flexibility to add additional surveillance cameras in the future.
